Kip McGrath Education Centre Derby South

Following my son’s entry into secondary school I became aware he desperately needed support with his English understanding and academic confidence. He is bright and mature but I became aware he lacked the key knowledge that would allow him to flourish academically, I felt my lack of expertise and involvement was damaging his confidence further. Kip offered my son a logical learning structure which built his comprehension and critical understanding and also demonstrated how to tackle each English skill area successfully. The Kip teaching team were experienced, incredibly supportive and were able to quickly locate and teach the missing skills and knowledge. The Kip centre was able to offer palatable lessons at a convenient time for us. The whole experience has led to a positive outcome which is benefitting my son long-term.

Please don’t be put of by the location of this education centre, there is free parking and from the minute you walk through the door you receive a warm welcome from Dave, Sue and all the children. My son initially went for extra tuition in Maths, but also ended up receiving tuition in English. Kip not only provided the extra tuition but Sue and Dave also worked to improve his confidence in these subjects. The result (based on his last mocks) was a 2 grade improvement in Maths and a 4 grade improvement in English. I can’t thank Sue and Dave enough for their help.

Thanks so much to the Kip McGrath centre in Allenton, my stepson has come on leaps and bounds, since he first started his extra lessons in English and Maths !! Dave and Sue do a fantastic job as do all the tutors at the Allenton branch. They are very attentive, genuine, caring people and great communicators. I cannot fault the service in any way shape or form. There is parking directly outside, it’s in a convenient location. I would highly recommend Kip McGrath if you are looking to get your child some additional support with their learning. I would definitely use the service again in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone.. it’s been a pleasure. Thanks guys! ps - my daughter got expected in maths for year 6 sats :)

Kip McGrath has been great for both of my children it has helped to increase their confidence with English. I am especially pleased as my son has recently received his GCSE results and his English grade was significantly higher than his predictions. Thanks to all at Kip McGrath Derby South.
