Great studio, very welcoming, open and friendly vibe. I’ve attended various classes here with different teachers, all have been wonderful. It’s a hidden jewel in the centre of Derby, it’s almost a secret I’d like to keep for myself. Would highly recommend!

I found The Breathing Space when I was pregnant with my third child and started their pregnancy yoga course which was a wonderful way to take some time for relaxation and gentle movement. I have since continued with their baby yoga and it is the highlight of my week and the only class I have consistently stuck with throughout my maternity leave. What I love most is that it gives me as much benefit as my little one, incorporating gentle stretches for us both, relaxation, bonding time and a supportive space for conversation and sharing. The opportunity to do something for my own wellbeing and self care is something that is so much harder to fit in once a newborn arrives so this has been a true haven. Alongside this I've brought my two older children to a course of family yoga sessions which were brilliant fun, really welcoming and a wonderful way to spend some unique and quality time with them. I 100% recommend this lovely, lovely studio and it's wonderful teachers.

First time doing forest bathing- it is truly beautiful connecting and being present with the forest and nature. Bel guided us through various activities and allowed time for reflection. I recently attended a Chair Yoga course at the Breathing Space in Derby. The studio space has a warm and welcoming feel to it. Christine is knowledgeable, approachable and answered all of my questions. Ensuring I felt comfortable and informed. I have left feeling more confident and empowered to teach.
