I would highly and strongly recommend neil cooke to anyone in search of a confident, professional, thorough and efficient architect. my property is of a grade 2* status and was in need of substantial renovations and a creative flare, this involved incorporating modern and historical features and designs whilst accommodating officials needs such as local planning authorities and historic england. we described to neil exactly what we would like to achieve and neil communicated profusely to ensure the drawings were exactly to suit our needs. neil liaised continually with planning officials and took the time to justify our requirements and built a rapport with both us as his clients and all other parties involved, whether this be surveyors, engineers and tradesmen etc. on a personal level neil is extremely helpful, friendly and approachable which has made the renovation process somewhat enjoyable. everything i have asked, queried and or requested has been actioned, justified or even implemented promptly. my forever home and requirements seemed near on out of reach but neil confidently helped us achieve planning permission and listed building consents. one thing i did particularly like about neil’s delivery of service was that he was able to recommend but never once was biased about particular tradesmen, i could put my recommendations forward and neil would always work with them but if i ever became unstuck neil was able to suggest numerous alternatives to ensure the project ran smoothly and efficiently. i would highly recommend neil cooke to anyone in search of a fantastic architect.

Neil has worked tenaciously to get our planning permission, liaising with conservation and planning departments to get an agreement that both parties are happy with. we look forward to finally being able to build the design. highly recommended

Whilst researching local architects, neil cooke's name came up....we're glad it did. neil's enthusiasm, professionalism and eye for detail shows through in his designs. neil worked with us to achieve the extended living space we needed, taking us through the design which was flexed and re modelled explaining what would work well in order to fit our end goal. neil has been supportive whilst the build went ahead, providing guidance throughout. the quality of neil's work can be seen in the finished design- providing key trade people with the detail they need to make the build flow as easy as possible. no words can explain how highly we would recommend neil cooke - calm and professional from start to finish. you only need to see this in his work where your ideas come to life in the structures that are created. beautiful, well planned and designed architecture, reflecting the environment in which it is brought to life.

Neil was very professional and friendly through the engagement. he was very respectful with our wishes and objectives and was extremely helpful with advice and recommendations. neil is meticulous with detail and performed all activities to expected timescales and was very supportive too through the entire planning process especially with heritage aspects of our edwardian coach house. i strongly recommend neil as the architect of choice having worked with several previously. working with neil took away much of the stress and anxiety during a complex project.
