Had the £5 special, small cod, chips and mushy peas. absolutely delicious. lovely white fish, crispy batter and good size. friendly staff. would not hesitate to go back again.
I am at an age to remember what fish and chips tasted like 70 years ago. over the years the way we cook fish and chips and taste of fish and chips has achieved disappointing results. i decided to have a fish and chip meal in the rothwells restaurant. i was very pleasantly surprised at how good and pleasing the meal turned out to be. in fact i now regularly visit for a meal. they have an extensive menu with drinks and the service is excellent. very good value meals.
Mum goes regularly as she lives in doncaster and shops in the market, i went with her for the first time last week, we had small cod and chips each, was delicious, would go again and reasonably priced.
