Bradley and James Garden Design

Bradley & Richard visited our home some weeks ago, we expressed what we wanted & how we planned to use our space. They came back with plans that 'blew' us away. Re-locating our veg beds were among some of the visions they saw. We trusted their expertise & started our transformation. Excellent planning & vision combined with fantastic workmanship (especially Rorie, Oliver & team), incorporating great quality products culminated in a stunning outside living area way beyond our expectations. We look forward to enjoying our extended living space with friends & family for years to come. A huge thank you to all the team.

We had Richard and Bradley come and look at our garden in the spring of 2022. The house is a new build and so it was something of a blank canvas. They came back a few weeks later and presented their plans to us. The garden was on a slope and we wanted to create two levels - the guys factored this into the design and we commissioned them to carry out the work. At the time, we were told that work would not begin until the autumn due to their busy schedule. However, luckily for us, a slot became available and they were able to start at the end of June. We were then introduced to Danny, who was going to carry out the majority of the work with the rest of the team. Over the next four weeks the guys worked tirelessly on the job, having to stop for a couple of days due to the heatwave in July! The garden slowly began to take shape, from the excavation, through to laying the patio and planting the shrubs and trees. The only feature we were unsure about was the gabion wall - as it was being constructed it looked very industrial and wasn’t really taking shape. It took a lot of convincing from Brad that it would come together in the end, which it did. The end product is an absolutely fantastic garden that everyone comments on when they see it, from family and friends to people passing by. Thank you all at Browning and James, we know we will have many happy years enjoying it!

We would highly recommend Bradley and Richard and would not hesitate to have them back again. The transformation to our garden is amazing and we're looking forward to spending our summer enjoying it. After 8 years of having a building site and nowhere safe for the children to play, we are delighted with the outcome. Our garden looked very narrow and small before. Richard and Bradley worked hard to achieve a garden which had everything we wanted and more. Somehow it looks x10 bigger and is a great entertaining space. They designed and installed a wonderful cottage garden for, me easy to keep looking fabulous! They installed multiple seating areas and view points. This is the first stage of my overall garden plan and I will be using this company to complete my gardening dream. The team were extremely professional, hardworking and very punctual. I'm so excited about seeing it bloom and mature over the coming months and years.

My very small garden was just weeds & grass with a couple of rows of grey slabs as a patio area. The back part was just an embankment with trees at the end & I was clueless as to what to do with it. I contacted Bradley & Richard for help & ideas to make the space look more attractive. They put together a lovely design that is wild life friendly - low maintenance & attractive to the eye. I was kept in the loop at each phase of the project, the team worked hard & cleared everything away at the end of the project. I love the new hand made fence & gate the materials used are all good quality. I am especially pleased with the planting which when matured the back of the garden will look & smell beautiful.
