My son today passed his gcse getting a grade 4 - 10 months ago he was looking at a grade 2 - over the past year andy has shown him how to overcome maths problems he has never understood at school making him believe in himself more & have the confidence to achieve.

Andy tutored my son ben and helped him improve his gcse grade, from a very low predicted grade to a reasonably high actual grade, which has allowed him to choose the subjects he wanted to study at college. andy is very patient, believe me, he needed to be with ben. andy explains things in a way that enabled ben to understand far better than he had been doing at school. he's an excellent maths tutor and i'll have no hesitation in recommending him in the future.

Highly recommend andy, his tutoring helped me achieve a 6 in my gcse maths exams when i was hardly stretching a pass in my mocks. his methods are great and he helped me significantly with understanding the topics. he is a great tutor and didn’t at all make me feel uncomfortable when i didn’t understand a topic.

Andy tutored my daughter sophie through her maths gcse. initially she was reluctant to have any tuition as she did not favour the subject and had very little confidence in her abilities. andy was consistently reassuring and patient throughout, building up her skills and knowledge. he guided her through everything perfectly, regularly setting her ‘to task’ at a level suitable for her. sophie’s maths teacher saw a marked improvement in her work soon after her lessons began. ultimately, she gained a really good understanding of maths and got a gcse grade 5, which was the highest mark in the paper she sat. i have no doubt that this was not only down to hard work on her part, but because andy guided her through it all. i have nothing but sincere gratitude to andy for all his expertise and his good-naturedness. i would certainly recommend him to anyone for maths tutoring. jayne parish.
