While i was not in a chain and renting at the time with the property i was buying being vacant, gill in the conveyancing department got the whole process done in just under 7 weeks. of course, there are many variables and a lot depends on the "other side's"' solicitor, we gill was all done and dusted at her end with no hold-ups. i think we only spoke twice during the whole transaction and no need to keep ringing for updates. would thoroughly recommend.
