Nice carvery tasted very good. did not book but was found a table pretty fast despite being very busy. very pleasant staff and a special thanks to louise.
Last minute decision to come for a carvery today, the food was lovely and well cooked. paid for an extra yorkshire pudding but didn’t really need to as they were huge!! asked one of the servers, jo for a gravy boat for some extra gravy, expecting to get one and go fill it myself, but she brought one already full. lovely friendly service! my only complaint is that the knives are so blunt that i had to practically tea all of the food up rather than cut it!
Was greeted by friendly staff when 1st entering the premises louise who showed us to a quiet table in the corner. jordan on the bar when placing a food order up sold me products, ordered carvery etc and kid's meals, was prompted by staff when kid's meal was nearly ready in order to go & get our carvery again great service by sam on the carvery counter, food delicious, waiting staff checking food was ok and clearing plate's as we'd finished. all in all a pleasurable visit & will be making future visits.
Another excellent marston's pub. serving a great carvery and standard menu. meet and greet was great. food and service superb. recommended if you are in the doncaster area...
Visited today for a carvery with a friend and i am absolutely blown away. despite it being a busy sunday afternoon we didn’t have to wait at all. we were seated straight away by friendly, helpful staff. we then went up for food, didn’t have to queue again at all. the serving of meat was really generous compared to other carveries was perfectly cooked, the yorkshire puddings were the perfect and the veg was too. very reasonably priced too. i was so, so impressed. i’m not often in doncaster but will definitely return next time i am. thank you, house martin!
