Hangman's Cottage

It's so peaceful and pretty down here. My wife and I walk down and sit at one of the many benches and have coffee listening to the bird song and the flow of the river. Trust me it's good for your soul!

Private house with no entrance. You can enjoy the idyllic location as part of the Ratty trail around Dorchester or the close by Roman villa. There are a couple of benches nearby on the streams edge, and you can see the doves flying around the roof top and garden.

I parked here only to go for a lovely walk in Thomas Hardy Explorer. Very limited parking as it's mostly permit holders. Very narrow roads. The walk was 2 mins down the road with a beautiful river on one side and an allotment, fileds on …
