Castlegate Harvester

Really nice place and very friendly staff. The vegetarian dishes my guest tried to order weren't there and my guest had to go with fish and chips. I went with sirloin medium well, and it was really good. Juicy and tasty as what I had expected to be. The cheese was yumm! The fish and chips was also decent. No complaints. Only downside to the whole experience was the weird smell and was mildly pungent. Addressing that would make the customer's experience much better.

The staff were pleasant but it took ages to get a drink. I had a groupon voucher that they didn’t seem to understand. Children’s portions are only big enough for a very small child not an 11 year old

Food & service were both very good, though the kitchen had run out of rotisserie chicken, which for a 7pm booking on a Friday I was very surprised with. Generally, this place has a good vibe, though I think the toilets and the adjacent area could be freshened up. Also, staff completing their close down and themselves having a team drink while punters are still eating/drinking seemed a tad over-zealous. All in all a good place to go

Food was just okay, puddings were lovely… but the service from both ladies who dealt with us was amazing very quick, efficient, and helpful…. Thank you Mary and I didn’t catch the other ladies name sorry your service was outstanding.
