Dog Tails

I never had a dog before, and had no idea on training methods. I got in touch with Max at Dog Tails, she was local to me and had very good reviews. I booked 8 lessons with Max for my cavapoo puppy named Poppy. Max came to the house to do training and have a chat with me, which made me very comfortable. To say Max is brilliant at what she does is an understatement, she is excellent and i would definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a dog trainer. By the 6th lesson Poppy had done all the training that Max had in mind for her, so for the last 2 lessons she taught Poppy how to climb stairs and to get into the car by herself. If i could rate more stars i would.

Maxine is super at what she does. Really helped me with my little anxious pomeranian. Definitely will be recommending her to others.

When I first booked Dog Tails I was almost at my wits end as a first time dog mom, I didn't have a clue what I was doing and Maxine was amazing. She reassured us in every way possible from the very beginning, that things were how they're supposed to be. Training was 100% amazing. Answering any questions, queries or worries we had. Maxine was great at teaching us, making sure we were comfortable with everything that we had learnt, so we could continue this between lessons. My pup learnt immediately, new things at every training session. Maxine was loving, calm, friendly and incredible at training. Being given recommendations for products that we now couldn't live without as well as an email breakdown of our lessons with what we can practice, in messaging and video format was just the extra mile we never expected but most definitely needed. We would highly recommend to anybody. Thank you for absolutely everything you have done for us, not only as a family but for my lovable Labrador too, who absolutely adored you at every very fun and enjoyable session. ❤

Max was great, she has really helped with our one year old Labrador puppy who pulls on the lead. Max really listened to our needs and what we have done/tried so far. After a visit to the house and a walk with Max we have some really helpful tips of what to do next. Even the change in lead which was recommended by Max we have already seen an improvement. We would defiantly recommend! Great value for money, thank you!

Max has been amazing with our dog. she listened to everything I had to say and helped in every way she could. My dog struggled with new people and other dogs and gets really anxious. He loved max, he was so excited everything he saw her! My dog was scared of other dogs after a dog had ago at him, he then thought it was okay to bark/growl at other dogs to protect himself. Max taught us ways to help him keep calm and that he was okay. she also taught me to be calm in situations instead of panicing when a dog came by us. Rico know plays with dogs and can go for walks without feeling anxious. we got to a point where we stopped taking him to places so he wouldn't be so anxious. know Rico goes everywhere thanks to Max!!! we are so greatful and appreciate her help so much and have recommended her to our freinds. xx
