Diamond Home Care (Head Office & Dudley Office)

I have recently been reading the google reviews for Diamond Home Care as i was conscious on whether to write to a review. I can recently see a lot of negative feedback which is why i felt the need to write this review. My father has been with Diamond Home Care since 2018. I have received nothing but outstanding care from the management team and the care staff all around. Since COVID 19 there have been so many strains on the health and social care sector but Diamond Home Care have not yet failed my father. I understand that sometimes due to the pressures there can be late visits but the Office staff always call me to communicate this. The girls have been fantastic in troubleshooting and even when needed they have juggled things around to ensure that my father is cared for correctly. Please DO NOT LISTEN to the negative reviews as i can vouch that Diamond Home Care have been amazing to my father and without them as a family we would have struggled. Thank you Diamond Home Care for all the amazing work that you do! Your carers are FANTASTIC!

I used for work for Diamond home care started in 2018, worked for 4 or more years with them. The management in sandwell company are brilliant especially Kelly, she has also supported and helped me when needed and always went out her way for me. The services users were wonderful people, I enjoyed looking after elderly people and it was a rewarding job because I knew I was making a difference in their lives by talking to them also as sometimes we the carers were the only people they say daily basis. I do miss my service users and Kelly and I hope they are well. I did not leave because they company was bad which they aren't as I have no regrets working for them due to my reasons I had left. Once again thank you Kelly for everything you have done for me and diamonds for giving me an opportunity to work there, I know you wanted me to stay but i couldn't. Thank you so much for everything.

Irene celebrated her 99th birthday in September, a few days later she was admitted to hospital. After a stay of 7 days she was discharged from hospital with a palliative care package. Diamond Home Care Dudley provided the carers. Initially they visited and did a risk assessment and checked what care was required. We downloaded an android app which allowed us to see the care given each visit and any comments or concerns left by the carers. They then arranged four care visits per day. We had the same two carers for the first three slots and another two carers to settle Irene down for the night. We were told the approximate time of each visit and they were always on time. When we had to contact the Head Office they were all very helpful and caring. All the carers were wonderful, they showed great tenderness and sympathy. Irene was very tender and needed to be moved with great care. They constantly talked to her and allowed her to keep her dignity as much as possible. It was a very trying time for all the family but the carers made a great difference to her final days. They never left without making sure that there was nothing else they could do. So we would like to thank everyone for their great service.
