Thank you to the team at ISO Stourbridge. We had a great meal eating in after our 6 year old had announced he wanted Japanese for his birthday (we live in rural North Worcestershire so were relieved to find a restaurant closer than Birmingham). The staff were friendly and went the extra mile for our son. The Dairy free pudding they did specially for us was amazing. Sushi was good, the soft shell crab was delicious and an absolute highlight. Thank you!

Mixed feelings about this place. Originally booked a table but as soon as we walked in we realized it’s a take out place, so ordered food to go. We had tuna and salmon box, two miso soups, steak ramen and katsu loaded fries. The ramen was a total disappointment as there was no flavor to it at all, not even salt, it tasted like tap water. Miso soup was just salted water. Didn’t eat either of the soups. The sushi were ok, the salmon were eatable but sometimes had pieces of very dry rice. Tuna looked very grey so didn’t risk eating it. The katsu loaded fries were amazing tho, truly one of the best things we had in a while. So no to sushi and soups, but will come back for the fries.

Looking for Sushi for dinner, I found this Sushi near by and give it a try. We decided to dine not take away. There’s only three tables seating, we were the only one dining in, mainly for takeaway. There’s no parking on-site, but can easily find parking space nearby on the street. We want to try sushi so we mainly ordered sushi, we ordered Nigiri Box, Masago Gunkan, Soft Shell Crab Hand Roll and assorted ISO Box. They use Japanese rice, taste good and good portion. Reasonable price. The staff were friendly and attentive. I will come again.
