I would recommend these vets to anybody ,staff are very polite, nothing is to much trouble ,if they don't know the answer they will find out for you ,and are very professional at there job , ,
Recently moved from here. we paid monthly for their pet plan for life cover but found out it actually wasn't worth it. wr always asked for an appointment at the end of the day, but they repeatedly failed to understand that our dog was car sick and super anxious once there. our dogs booster was included in the plan we paid for, but we couldn't get a suitable appointment within the timescale needed for the booster to be valid, there was in fact a 3 week wait. so.we decided to change vets.
Not registered here , but sadly last week my cat was involved in a road accident and somebody bought him to this practice ( it’s around 30 mins from my house ) sadly he didn’t make it and passed away before he arrived . however i was informed quickly and they didn’t pressure me to make any decisions that night and allowed me to take my time whilst they stored his body . we were allowed to go in and see him in a special room which was set up very nicely and given time to say goodbye . the situation was handled very compassionately by staff . she even gave us paw prints and fur clipping with no charge . we had him cremated and again it was handled in a compassionate manner. today i received a lovely card in the post from this vets with a poem and some seeds to plant and i was very touched by this gesture as like i said they aren’t my practice . i would recommend them to anyone after this experience .
I couldn't ask for a better experience for my dog, oscar. the staff understand his anxiety and go over and beyond to treat him.
I can’t praise everyone at blacks hospital in dudley enough. it’s i difficult time for every owner, specially if your pet has been diagnosed with several problems and has to undergo major surgery. we were made welcome and reassured. thank you to everyone. hopefully zach our newfoundland only 18 months old, is going to have a brighter pain free future ahead of him after his cruciate ligament operation today. thanks kevin
