Rik's Bike Shed

Rik was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. He provided me with a nice bike, helmet and map and sent me off with instructions to visit the cafe at Penpont (a very good recommendation, as it turned out). If you fancy a couple of hours on quiet and fairly flat roads, call at Rik's and he'll see you right.

Rik is a very nice, welcoming and loving person. There are various well maintained bikes, including electric ones! We had a tandem and two ordinary mountain bikes, and enjoyed 2hours cycling around which was not enough! Must visit again.

Rented 2 mountainbikes to explore the trails in the area. Our bikes were great. The owner (and his cute dog) was very friendly and we had a nice chat. He also recommended us excellent routes that were a lot of fun to cycle.

Great ride today with Archie the Cool Cavalier. Did 15km on e-bike with trailer in stunning scenery on a bright Spring morning. Rik was fab. Sorted bike and then gave me a brew at the end of the ride. 🤩🤩

Rik is a friendly guy who expertly sorted our group of four adults and seven kids with excellent bikes and advice. A really great area for cycling, and very lucky to have a top notch small business to help visitors experience it. Thanks!
