Enjoyed my visit to Robert burns resting place ... disappointed it not looked after very well

I visit St Michael's every week in summer as I am a church tour guide. I meet so many lovely people from all over the world. This is a hidden gem so please come and see us you will love it too.

This is a beautiful church with large grand tombs, for those of our notable ancestors. I went there to see the Mausoleum of Robbie Burns. It really stood out in its majesty, painted white, with different quotes from the poet. Well worth the pilgrimage. And a 2 minute walk from the house where he lived with a very friendly knowledgeable guide there. Sublime.

Beautiful exterior. This church building is one of the most attractive in the area. I believe it will be amazing from interior and for worshiping. I just passed by and take few shots.
