Cally Palace Hotel & Golf Course

Stayed for one night . Hotel loads of character . Room was so clean and really large plus such a lovely view from our balcony. Food lovely couldn’t fault anything . Two people really made our stay complete where Garry and Steven , Garry made the best cocktails ever Steven just couldn’t do enough to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Would really recommend this hidden gem.

Amazing and imposing old stately home, set in a beautiful forest area, with hill views. Rooms huge, although a little old fashioned; restaurant meals very good including good gluten free options, although the restaurant decor is very plain. Service ok but not excellent - for instance, no-one asked us when we were leaving 'how did you find your stay?' Dinner service a bit patchy too. Good place to stay for rural pursuits holidays, or to stay en- route to Cairnryan- ferry. No electric vehicle chargers, which was both unexpected and disappointing.

Spent two wonderful nights at Cally Palace. Room was huge with a small adjoining sitting room. Very clean and comfortable. Staff are all hard working, pleasant and nothing was too much trouble (Thanks!) Meals we had both nights were very tasty. Terrific location.

Absolutely beautiful location, beautiful rooms and amazing food! We rarely go away due to having kids but when we can we go away for a weekend. Everything was beautiful apart from the staff. A few staff were lovely but the rest I can only describe as snobby with no customer service skills. For the amount you pay to stay there id expect more. Think we will stick to less expensive places with lovely staff next time 🙏

A gorgeous hotel in spectacular surroundings. The room was spotless, very large and decorated in a traditional style. Very comfortable beds with good quality, heavily starched sheets. The room was very warm and the water hot. The food was superb and the staff very professional. Excellent in everything respect. This is a very traditional hotel with a beautifully faded genteel interior - probably not for those wanting power showers and an immaculate modern finish!!! We will definitely return.
