Thornhill Golf Club

A truly beautiful Golf Club, wonderful, testing, interesting Course kept to highest standards. Catering was absolutely terrific. Such a warm welcome from all their Staff and Members. Our VERY Happy Society will certainly return again next year. Keep this gem under your hat, tell nobody. Thanks Thornhill.

Great golf course. Little wet today but a really nice layout. No two holes the same. Will definitely be back!

Great course, played as part of an outing of 24 in glorious sunshine. I think the challenge would increase somewhat in windy or wet conditions. The clubhouse staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend and will be back.

Thornhill is a true hidden gem of a course with a great layout that requires you to choose your shots carefully but accommodates all standards of golfer. There were 22 of us who played Monday to Wednesday (12th to 14th of June 23) in scorching weather.I agree with another reviewer that the challenge would be different in wet or windy conditions which is the same for any course I suppose. 8 of us stayed in the spacious lodge next to the club house and 14 in the nearby (1m) Thornhill Inn. Great course, Everyone including staff and members, and people in the town were all very friendly and welcoming and we hope to return on an annual basis. I would highly recommend the course and I am sure you will not regret it. Stay classy Thornhill👍🏌️👏
