Wigtownshire County Golf Course

Great golf course with beautiful views. just absolutely love it. well worth a visit 🏌️‍♂️

Mum & i went for a big breakfast when recommended by a friend who is a member. (you don't have to be a member to eat there, they also have a good wee bar). the square sausage was the best i've ever tasted, lovely & thick. eggs were white & perfect. black pudding, bacon, tomato.., everything was really tasty. we left so full. my 2 pups were happy when i returned with lots of sausages too. they cater for all mealtimes, so macaroni or steak pie next, maybe a small shandy. very reasonably priced. the chef & lady who took our order couldn't do enough for us. a laid-back & friendly atmosphere. highly recommend! 👌

Wend for breakfast had a bacon, egg tatties scone roll and 2 coffees. was cooked to perfection. evening meal see pictures. sesame seed chicken. chips and cheese county burgers. fish and chips all meals went down a treat and the complements were flying. if you knew my family this is a rare occurrence hence the 5 stars.

Just played two rounds in a week, an absolutely fantastic course that’s true links experience on the shores of glen luce. very friend welcoming staff, excellent food. the course is a true hidden gem with spectacular views and stunning greens which were like mini oasis’ after 3 weeks without rain! lush surfaces and ran firm and true. highly recommended course, accuracy and imagination needed all the way round. just wish i’d taken more photos!
