Premier Inn Dumfries hotel

Great value for money. service at check-in desk was very welcoming. rooms clean but basic. food next door was fine. only downside was the room. the ac wasnt working which i believe was an issue for all rooms. there was an electric fan, but too noisy to leave on overnight.

We only stayed one night as a quick stop on our way to cairnryan port. the rooms are clean and comfy and at the usual premier inn standard. we had a slightly smaller room than we've had in other premier inns but it was fine for one night. the next door table table restaurant serves the standard premier inn breakfast and has good good with full table service in the evening.

We stayed for three nights whilst working locally. room was like any other premier inn. the only annoyance in the room were the floors-no matter where you walked in the room the floor squeaked. not great when you are trying to be quiet when returning back to your room after a nightshift. it was fairly quiet apart from that. we did not have breakfast due to the nightshifts. staff were friendly at reception.

Pretty much as you'd expect. premier inn being decent enough. food is supplied by a pub next door, good service in there and of course i always love the all you can eat breakfast buffet! room was pretty normal for premier inn (perfectly acceptable and comfortable) but in dumfries pi the shower was a bit lacking. aside from that i had a pleasant stay. the staff were all very nice and helpful.

Typical premier inn. not too noisy but not too quiet either but sleep was disturbed. no views as such but not really a problem for me. my only complaint was the walk from reception to the room was oddly loooooong! ps - wouldn't rely on the brewers fayre next door - expensive and poor service. however some amazing takeouts and places to eat are a short drive away.
