Papa Rab’s Restaurant, Takeaway & Bar

Wanted to visit this place after having seen it on a television program. lovely place, food and staff👍👍 will definitely return if i'm in the area again.

It was not amazing, it was just ok for that money. our main courses were about £15-£15. we got some home made bread with butter,that was really nice. i think would have been better to choose a nice pizza or maybe pasta. the place is separeted, the front part was the bar and the back was the restaurant. we almost left the place as we went in the front door and it was overcrowded. but after we found the back door to the restaurant. drink was ok. a bit loudy because of the bar. toilettes were clean and ok. staff was nice. we did not have a booking and we arrived there saturday evening just around 8pm.

Very welcoming restaurant. waitress recommended the rabbit special which was excellent. lasagna and pizza were also good, as was the garlic bread. good drinks selection too. owner came and chatted and recommended places to visit the next day, we followed his advice and had a lovely day out. thank you!

Food was good. i had spicy chicken pizza which was nice and it was real chicken - not the processedstuffyou often get in resteraunts. the only small negative was that the spicy chicken was not spicy. the service was good and the staff were friendly.

Nice surprise for a spur of the moment booking. turned out to be the best carbonara i've ordered at a restaurant. server's were lovely and attentive, the rest of the food was great too!
