Spectacular. warning… the large is large and a bit of a mish! lovely guys serving behind the counter. nice and clean with a small easy to choose from menu! highly recommend.

Been here a few times since moving to dumfries. food is always 10/10. sometimes a small wait, but always worth it. i’d recommend the pork gyros with added halloumi.

I came in with my dad few days ago and asked for a mini meze which wasn't exactly on the menu but nick the owner was more than happy to cater for us and made us an amazing arrangement of meat, dips, olives etc. we were genuinely blown away by the quality of the food and how friendly nick was to us. i can't wait to go back. i highly recommend it.

Having travelled regularly to greece for over 20 years, and in particular to crete since 2007, we love our greek 🇬🇷 street food. however, today was the first that we had sampled food from yamas deli. in the past we had feared that it wouldn't live up to expectations so had shied away. as it was such a lovely, warm, spring day in dumfries today, we headed down bank street from the makers' market, to order 2 medium mixed pita gyros (chicken and pork). great portion size, beautifully prepared and cooked with all the authentic ingredients and flavours that we have grown to love. it was such a nice day that we sat at a table outside the takeaway to enjoy our lunch. not quite as cheap as our usual lunchtime spots in crete (under 3 euros) but still a treat we thoroughly enjoyed 😋 - and cheaper than a flight to chania 🙃

Amazing food! would 100% recommend, especially the halloumi gyros as you get such a big portion.
