Nithsdale Vets Dumfries

My experiences in nithsdales care have ranged from tending to newborn lionhead rabbits to euthanasia of my cats and dogs over the years. the staff were very compassionate towards all family members in each circumstance. after the last fur baby fell ill, our last resort was to put him to sleep and the vet allowed us time in private to say goodbye. this was very much appreciated.

Took my puppy here for the first time on friday, lovely staff- very helpful receptionist was lovely gave me lots of lovely advice. the vet we saw he went through everything made sure i understood everything before leaving! looking forward to bringing my pup back😊

My visit was for a booster vaccination. since my dog is a recent rescue from northern ireland and seems to have issues with vet centres she was unusually hyper. however the procedure was conducted quickly and professionally, a quick health check and weight check done and over in a few minutes. cost was £46. i am assured that this is now considered reasonable. since i have been with this practice and its predecessors since the 1970s i see no reason for change.

Highly recommended! my dog had to have a tumour removed and the provided amazing advice, customer service and support throughout the entire process. they showed care for my dog that exceeded my expectations. all costs were explained before hand and all part of the procedure carefully explained too giving me piece of mind. my dog is now doing well and they did follow up appointments free of charge too care for him
