Julie Scrumptious Cake Design

From the minute we tasted and saw Julie’s cakes at a wedding fayre we knew we had to book her for our wedding day! Julie made everything so easy for us and communication was always great. I still can’t get over how amazing our cake turned out on the day, we had so many people comment on it and they couldn’t believe the sugar flowers were handmade. We couldn’t be happier with our choice of having Julie make our wedding cake, we definitely couldn’t have picked a better person!

We were so fortunate to have Julie make our wedding cake in August 2023. Not only do Julie’s cakes look amazing, they also taste incredible! She has so many flavours to choose from (we recommend the sticky toffee, coconut and lime, and raspberry white chocolate), and she worked with us to design the cake to fit in with our overall decor and vision for the day. Julie has exacting standards which is clear from the moment you have the tasting with her, all the way through the the presentation of the cake on the day. Her sugar petal work is insane! We can’t recommend Julie enough! The Chauhans.

I’ve just received my wedding photos and so pleased we had some amazing ones of our beautiful cake. We really couldn’t of been happier with it. I first saw julie on Instagram and loved her creative videos. I was astounded by the sugar craft flowers. Our wedding was being televised and featured our own wedding venue so the cake needed a wow factor. From the first day we met Julie I knew she was the cake lady for us. My scrappy drawings and her slightly better drawings brought the idea I had in my head to life. The sample box of cake didn’t disappoint either beautifully packaged and tasted amazing! I also ordered sugar coated biscuits as presents for my bridesmaids and the mums. The cake was delivered on the wedding day with no involvement from my bridal team. The first time I saw it was after the ceremony, beaming from ear to ear and really didn’t want to cut it! Just outstanding…. perfectly smooth, pristine white, perfect green and oh boy those flowers!!!! My guests were shocked that they were not real. The whole experience was effortless and we got exactly what we wanted and more. Thank you Julie we really can’t recommend you enough. x

We got married in September 2023 and chose Julie to make our cake. Julie was absolutely fantastic from start to finish and we couldn’t have asked for a better service - very high quality! We were absolutely delighted with our cake and all our guests commented on how delicious it was! We began planning our wedding for July 2023 in February this year and were so lucky that Julie was available on our wedding date! Julie is so friendly and helpful, I had a rough idea of what we were after and Julie took time to go through options and designs with us. Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly what we wanted. We went for the lime and coconut and the toffee flavours and they tasted just amazing. We highly recommend Julie :)
