Excellent all round! bruce was polite & professional. always replied promptly. excellent prices for all labour and equipment. installed the hearth, surround, flue liner and stove within weeks of asking. all others were going to be after xmas, but lo and behold, it was installed quickly with no issue. bruce has an old-school work ethic, but with modern installation techniques and tools. just proves what can be done if you actually get after it and do it.

Bruce came round following us having had building work done to advise on installing a log burner in our existing chimney. we received a detailed quote quickly and following his advice picked a stove. the instillation was done soon afterwards, stove, backplate, chimney liner and hearth. bruce and joe did a fantastic job with no mess and were a pleasure to deal with. it was refreshing to have professional tradesmen in our home who had a great work ethic, communicated throughout and provided a very reasonably priced quality service. would highly recommend. thanks again!

Highly recommend alba chimney. they put in my wood stove recently and did an amazing job. they organised a builder to repair the chimney and plasterer to finish off around the stove. bruce was professional and always kept me up to-date as to what was happening and when. service was timely and they were very tidy. it was a fantastic job. bruce also provided all the necessary information on breaking in my new stove etc. and all at an extremely competitive price. so so happy with the whole process and especially the finished stove. will definitely use again.

Bruce and his young assistant always turned up when they said they would despite being very busy just now. work was to a high standard very pleased with wood burner installation. would recommend them.

We are absolutely delighted with the work carried out by bruce and his colleague. on a relatively short time frame they were able to install a stove and flue in order to comply with local authority building warrant compliance and provide a hetas report. what they charged for this service was very fair and communication was very good all along the way. highly knowledgeable in his field and adept in his installation methods. finding the right person to carry out this work was challenging. bruce has proved to be the right person for the job and i am most grateful to have finally overcome this hurdle with the planning department. thank you bruce.
