We recently had to use the services of james ashton and edward mchugh. we found every member of staff we dealt with to be extremely professional and understanding. they were very sympathetic and went out of their way to accommodate any requests we made. the church service and burial all went as planned, and nothing was too much trouble. special thanks to david wighton. i absolutely recommend this company - they ensured our family coped with our bereavement.

At a difficult time, planning a funeral can seem like a daunting experience. i had never done it before and was unsure of all that was involved. from the initial call from chris following on from my dad's death, through to settling the invoice, i could find no fault with the service i (and my family) received at ashtons. chris was calm, reassuring, respectful, measured and supportive - at every stage of the process. as were all members of the staff team. i would like to thank chris and the team for working alongside my family and i to ensure my dad's funeral was fitting in every way.
