From start to finish the level service has been fantastic, always available to talk through decisions and with myself and our main contractor providing practical and economic solutions. natural light and space was very important to our family and these have been captured exceptionally.

I can't thank william and the team enough for their welcome and advice when i wandered into their office one day, confused and unsure about buying a property. william later came out to look at a few places with me before i finally bought somewhere suitable for reconfiguration and extension. william devised a wonderful design that creates great views of the garden and uses a corner window to make the most of the light moving around the property. the extension transforms an ordinary new town basement flat into something fabulous. everyone who walks into the kitchen loves the way the garden wraps itself around the building. its the perfect space to start my day - whatever the weather it always lifts my spirits.

The house that tom hayes and william anderson of jefcoate anderson designed and built for us is stunning. in september 2019 we purchased a “cottage with planning permission” and approached jaa because they were local to where we then lived. what an excellent choice that turned out to be. they designed and built our house during the pandemic. consultations had to be by phone, email and zoom; and latterly there were some safely distanced outdoor site meetings. despite many delays and supply problems we were able to move in for christmas 2021. in the beginning we were asked what we wanted - we said a house of “glass and wood”, which is what we now have: a beautiful house, full of light, which sits happily in the leafy space that surrounds it.

Gavin jefcoate worked with us on the design of our kitchen extension, which was on a difficult sloping site. we are delighted with the final design and build and gavin was a pleasure to work with. he listened to our suggestions and responded quickly to queries. we would recommend him without hesitation.
