The Edinburgh Larder

The best poached egg dishes, bacon, and sausage. can't say enough about the edinburgh larder. the staff is very friendly and efficient. the food was amazing.

We booked the table for 3 people at 7.30 am. it required £5 deposit for reservation. it is a small lovely cafe. the food was fast and delicious. we also ordered their scone with clotted cream and jam. the scone smells great and the cream is nice. plus, the staffs there are warmly welcome.

A local spot for local dishes using quality ingredients. you can make a reservation to guarantee a table or wait in line for the little larder that is first come first serve. baby and pet friendly friendly. the food is good nevertheless the presentation in silver trays could be improved for a better experience.

Lovely place for breakfast. one of the few vendors open before 9am but worth it with excellent service and food served in cute tin boxes. we were also given plates with the tins. so no need to eat from the box if not wanted. they don't accept amex. great coffee with alternative milks available.

Fabulous little spot in the centre with delicious food. we came here twice during our stay. we had to queue as it’s so popular but that moves quickly. i’d recommend eating in the one to the right which serves on plates or else you are served in tin trays which look good on insta but aren’t good in reality both in presentation and taste. i’d definitely recommend and return.
