Gets crowded within minutes so recommend getting here before it opens if you want to eat inside. the cafe it quite small and it’s probably going to be very hard to find a spot if you’re a group of more than 2. the interior is quite lovely and the window seating is just a great way to kill an hour. the baked goods here are decent - the plain croissant i ordered was quite cold but other than that, it’s nice and buttery. the mocha is superb.

I like the coffee but personally felt the baked goodies were overrated. the pastries were not warmed up it's having cold bread in a cold environment... the place is also a little small, very limited seating.

Lovely little building, see photo. went in for a chance to try the cozy window seat on a cold and snowy sunday morning, sipping coffee and watching people walking by in cockburn street. we had flat white and matcha latte, both excellent. the coconut lime cake was good but a bit too sweet, will try other offers next time.

I think the taste of coffee is the best in edinburgh. i really recommend flat white. when i visited, there were limited kinds of desserts, but by the time i finished drinking coffee, there were many kinds of desserts. if you fill in more types of desserts in advance when opening, it would be good to have more opportunities to choose.

Absolutely gorgeous and richly atmospheric place. coffee, tea and all hot drinks are delicious, i heard several other people commenting on how their tea or coffee etc were great when i was there. very limited seating but if you are solo or in a couple, you may be able to nick a corner! wonderful range of cakes and pastries, some quite unusual or different from the usual. i can recommend the coffee cake in particular. i also like that you have the option to add a tip when you pay by card. i was lucky enough to get the seat by the window and the photo is the view i got to enjoy during my stay!
