I've been using this garage for 10 years (service, MOT & repairs) and have recommended it to several colleagues who are also regular users now. John has always provided an excellent service, getting repairs done quickly, never doing more work than necessary and providing useful advice. He's always happy to explain any work that was required (or might be required before the next service). On 2 occasions, he didn't even charge for minor repairs where I'm sure other garages would have done so. Drop off and collection are available outside normal hours. Excellent workmanship and thoroughly recommended.

Took my car in after the engine light came on - it needs to be looked at further but the guys at the garage charged the battery for me overnight and managed to clear a couple of the faults and recommend diagnostics specialist to take the car too - and didn't charge! Honest, friendly and great customer service. Will definitely be bringing my car back here from now on.

My son just started university in Edinburgh and we used Causeway for his MOT based on these reviews. They dealt with the MOT very honestly and professionally, putting it through, not creating work for themselves and advising clearly what might need doing in future. Glad to have found them so that's where his car's going for everything for the next four years.

At my last service, I was told by the major dealership that I required new rear discs and pads and was quoted accordingly. I was then referred to Causewayside Garage by my friends at Crypton Tuning. I booked the car in and an hour later received a call from John to say that the discs had at least 50% wear left in them and if it was his car he would not change them! When I called to collect my car John would not accept any payment for the work he'd done checking the discs, which I was surprised, but genuinely grateful for. There is no doubt where I will go, next time my car needs attention!

I used this garage for several years for my car's annual service and MOT, until I had to sell my car. Unlike other garages, I never felt that I was being overcharged or advised to have work done that wasn't needed. Indeed, John sometimes advised that I could delay certain work until the next service. And I never had any issues with work done on my car.
