Frederick Street Dental Care

Needing medical/dental care is a bit nerve wracking while on vacation in another country, but the people here were wonderful. i had developed an abscess/infection and needed emergency walk-in care. the staff were wonderful and efficient, i was in and out in a half-hour (on may 6), with the antibiotics i needed in hand. totally saved my vacation!

I have to write a glowing review for dr. wadood ur rehman and his staff. i am travelling from canada and lost a filling. it was very painful and needed to be fixed asap. i called the office and they were able to fit me in on short notice on a saturday, the only day i would be in edinburgh. the gentleman on the phone was extremely friendly and professional, and put me at ease right away. he clarified my question with the dentist right away and sent me a reminder before the appointment. i was very anxious the day of the appointment as i am fearful of dental needles. the entire experience was one of the best i have ever had, and let me tell you i have had a lot of dental work done. the receptionist was lovely, calm, soothing. there was soft music playing in the waiting room. the dentist was a dream. he listened carefully to my concerns. he was extremely kind, patient and thorough. he examined my tooth and presented my options, giving pros and cons and never making me feel rushed. he explained the cost clearly. when it was time to repair the filling, dr. ur rehman helped me through the needle. i barely felt it going in. i have never in my life had such a painless dental needle. i was extremely impressed and relieved. the rest of the procedure was easy and i was out of there quickly. i cannot say enough about this fantastic dentist. he is an angel. if i lived in scotland, i would switch dentists in a heartbeat. i am incredibly grateful to frederick street dental for saving my vacation and making the process so easy! thank you so very much!

I would give more than 5 stars if i could! absolutely excellent experience. i got my wisdom teeth taken out on one side of my mouth, the surgery took 10-15 minutes for 1 tooth (the root was crooked so hard to remove) and less than 2 minutes for the other. the surgeon was very reassuring and very communicative during the surgery. after care was amazing, i unfortunately had an infection and was able to get it checked out by the dentist and given antibiotics. i also had to come back to get my stitches taken out. both consultations were free of charge. i had a lot of questions about pain/healing/etc and the reception staff was super helpful. i would definitely recommend, the surgery and healing in itself is not a good experience pain wise but that is normal, having great after care really helped!

Needed an emergency appointment on a sunday due to severe tooth pain. frederick street dental were able to see me within an hour and following an examination and xray, performed a root canal which alleviated the issue. the dentist and staff were all very friendly and informative. a couple of days later i contacted them saying i didn't think there was enough filling in my tooth and they saw me the same day to redo the filling with no fuss and no charge. no negatives to this experience.
