First time i used this company last week as my washing machine was leaking and recommended by a friend, from my first call to them had a lovely guy explain what it could be and he arranged for a engineer to come next day and he did with all the equipment and turns out needed a new door seal which he had brought. excellent customer service from start to finish, will definitely use them again.

Ordered a replacement thermostat for our bosch fridge on friday afternoon and it arrived on monday morning - good service, good price, couldn't expect more.

I phoned wallace's when our washing machine stopped working very suddenly. nick was exceptionally helpful and two days later wallaces delivered and fitted a new machine plus removed the old one too. fantastic service and great to be able to shop local!

I recently moved house and the washing machine that came with the property needed to have the door seal replaced. i phoned wallaces and they called me back to organise an appointment after checking that they had the required spare part in stock. colin arrived on time and was able to replace the door seal quickly and efficiently. he also gave me good advice on maintaining the washing machine. i was really pleased with the friendly and professional service, and i wouldn't hesitate to use them again if i have any other appliances in need of repair.

I contacted wallaces’ repair shop as my daughter had a problem with her washing machine. they were able to help me secure the part for her machine. as my daughter lives in devon they had the part forwarded to her as it wasn’t guaranteed that i could collect it from the shop before i went down to see my daughter. when i went down to see my daughter i found that the leak from the machine didn’t in fact come from a leaky door seal but from a loose bracket on the door. i tightened it and that did the trick. on my return to edinburgh i went to wallace’s and explained the situation. without hesitation they offered me a credit note for the unused door seal. i expected nothing from them as they supplied what i had asked for. there was no obligation on their part, but instead they made a great gesture of goodwill and gave me a credit note which i duly spent in their shop. wallaces are in my option a first class family business who genuinely do their very best to help their customers. i would be happy to recommend them without hesitation.
