I was very impressed with my meeting with David Garvey at EWS Financial Advisers' offices in Edinburgh yesterday. His approach is person centred not sales centred which was reassuring. He spent time with me discussing the many varied questions I brought to him and provided me with lots of options to move forward with. I will be using EWS services again in the future.

David is very hard working and is excellent at explaining my investment options and why he has made a recommendation to me. He always replies to any of my queries both promptly and professionally. I have full confidence in his ability to ensure that my pension investments are always being attended to in a thorough and highly competent manner.

I contacted EWS Financial Advisors to get some advice about planning for retirement. I’m an academic in my early 40s and was worried about my pension. The got back to me right away, and I spoke to David over zoom for probably an hour. Super useful conversation, I left it feeling much more confident with a list of concrete things to do. It was just what I needed to get a real handle on some complicated pension issues! David was very generous with his time, easy to talk to, great advice, would highly recommend.

From first contact, David Garvey and the team at EWS have been excellent. Communication is prompt and reliable. They have provided advice and guidance as to how best to manage our finances in a no nonsense way, giving examples and clear info. I have approached financial advisors in the past and have been met with stuffy old men in suits with expensive brochures who spoke in a language I didn’t understand and felt I wasnt able to ask questions. David is open and genuine and keen to help. Would highly recommend.
