Firstly, never met an owner with so much passion to deliver a brilliant service and product. Been waiting to try the place for some time and finally treated myself. The fish was as fresh as if they caught it and battered it before my eyes. Chips...golden, crunchy on the outside, soft and fluffy in the middle. 10/10

Simply the best place for fish and chips here in Edinburgh and absolutely one of the best in the whole UK, fresh food, many alternatives even many vegan options. Yesterday they ran out of a product that was in my order, and they called me to ask what i preferred to have instead; i wasn't expecting this so i didn't remember prices etc, the chef, who called me, said not to worry for the price cause it was their mistake. This is caring for your customers for real! So, i picked the most traditional option (that was obviously really good) and I had a perfect dinner even without my first choice, because (sorry if I'm repeating myself but they deserve it) everything is really good in this place and they are also really kind to customers, which honestly made my day. Best fish and chips I’ve had for a good while if not ever. Very fresh, delicious, decent portions and reasonably priced. Make sure to have look at todays specials - tried hake for a first time and it was amazing ! Super friendly and welcoming staff, definitely will be back when visiting Edinburgh again.
