I've had a lot of indian food in my time, and always try to check out local offerings if time permits because the flavors are so good. in all my time and in all my places of sampling indian cuisine, dishoom stands perhaps at the top for delicious indian food. the menu is expansive, and with a variety of options to try each dish was perfect. excellent spices, sauces, and portions, and if i hadn't eaten to the point of pain, i would have loved to sample even more of their delicious offerings. some of the best curry i've ever had was in the chicken ruby, and if you're lucky enough to have the alphonso mango in season, it's definitely worth the buy. the staff was fantastic. personable, charming, fun, and knowledgeable with their recommendations. they have tons of vegetarian options as well. if you need am excellent vegetarian place you will not be disappointed here! reserve ahead of time, i'd say a day at least, because, rightfully so, the line goes around the block for walk-ins. you won't regret your time at dishoom, but perhaps plan for an hour walk afterwards so you can walk off all the food you'll be enjoying!

One of my favourite indian restaurants in uk! recommend booking in advance. the food is all very authentic & did not have to wait long. love the desserts too. definitely recommend the ruby chicken.
One of the best indian restaurants i have visited in the uk & ireland. you'll get the authentic taste of india in this restaurant. they have a variety of indian dishes with very good taste. so if you're in scotland, i recommend you to definitely visit this place.
