It's on Calton Hill, which has a amazing view of Edinburgh... and you can climb on this like other people do with take some good photos.
Best when it's a good day... and great place to see the sunset (other than Arthur's seat)

Great place to visit in Edinburgh. You can see Edinburgh from the top and taking couple of photos. (Has great view of the city and the mountain goin up Arthur’s seat). it’s an easy walk and a few meters away from the bus stop.

The National Monument of Scotland stands as a striking tribute to the nation's history.
Panoramic views of Edinburgh and its iconic landmarks from the hilltop vantage point, this monument is an essential stop on any Edinburgh itinerary.

Excellent for photos and definitely a place worth visiting. The walk-up the hill is a little steep, but it's so worth it. You have to climb to actually get up on the bottom of the monument.

This is a small trek with a great stunning view. I visited this place during a drizzle and the scenery felt like Heaven. You can see the whole of Edinburgh city from this place. You can see castles, the seashore on one side and mountains on another side. Also, it's great for walking. So just take your partner to visit and capture great moments with them and of course, you do not need a ticket to visit this place.
