Taco Libre

I’ve been there few times and the experience is ok, the tacos are really good. In my last visit I ordered take away as the place is small so you should book in advance if you want to get a table. The decoration has the Mexican atmosphere is cool. The staff is friendly and I didn’t wait too long to get my order. One thing I don’t liked is that they suggested go to get cash to paid because I don’t know why 💁🏻‍♀️💁🏻‍♀️, or I am one of the one who prefer to pay by card, but anyway the experience is ok.

Very small place, looked quite cozy. The food was nice but a bit too salty. The waiters where nice and service quick. I would go back again when i visit!

We missed Mexican food, so we found this small taco place while walking around. Ordered the chicken tostada and Carne asada/chorizo tacos. It was reasonably good, but margarita on the rocks was better.

What a gem of a place! Everything from the decor to the music and most importantly the food was wonderful. The interior is bright and colourful and the food packs a punch. I have struggled to find any even remotely authentic Mexican food in Edinburgh and the UK in general, and this is the first place that hit the spot and that I would definitely come back to again!

Really tasty and well done food!! Tacos slow cooked for hours means you can chew the meat with your tongue, the chimichangas also excellent. Loses a point for portions, service not as friendly as one would expect and further - cash payments only which I don’t understand!
