Edinburgh Sports + Spinal Physiotherapy - Physiotherapists in Edinburgh

I first started appointments with richard in march this year due to issues with my jaw (tmj specifically). on my first visit i could barely open my mouth and was in a lot of pain. richard worked with me and showed me different massage techniques and stretches to loosen the muscles around my tmj that i could also do myself at home which reduced my pain significantly in a matter of weeks. i would highly recommend getting an appointment with richard if you are struggling with tmj/ jaw issues - thanks richard!

Great practise and i would highly recommend. i tired a few other physiotherapists around edinburgh with little success in supporting my recovery. however this practise and especially richard has been amazing. he clearly diagnosed the issue, gave me a variety of exercises/ stretches and i am able to continue with my sports!! can’t recommend enough.

Cannot recommend the edinburgh sports + spinal physio practice highly enough, and in particular bertie elles. bertie is super professional and knowledgeable, and really supportive. bertie put together a fantastic programme through the course of treatment which adapted as i improved thanks to his guidance. thank you so much for everything - really appreciate all your hard work.

Needed help with plantar fasciitis and went to edinburgh sports & spinal for help with this. physio riccardo russo was excellent and provided professional advice, help and support that has led to near full recovery. no hesitation in recommending es&s and riccardo- they’ve been first class!

I have been having physio treatment from a mr riccardo russo from this practise and having seen other physios i can happily say the treatment has been second to none. it has been very refreshing to find someone who takes a real interest in his clients wellbeing and progress and also has given me an exercise regime tailored to me and where i am at present and not just something generic. this is the first time that i have needed a physio for an injury and i feel very fortunate to have found riccardo who has not only progressed my physio but has given me confidence in myself with what i can do and what i will be able to do soon etc, with his advice i feel like i am moving forward with someone backing me which again for someone with a first time serious injury and not knowing what exactly to do is extremely important for the patient to have complete faith and i do. thank you so much 👍
