Loch Fyne Restaurant and Bar

The service was incredibly slow, I was able to get a table for one fast. However, I wasn’t able to get someone over to my table until 15 minutes, and that was when I had to just call a waitress over. She was very helpful and understanding. Wasn’t impressed with the chili prawns. The mixed grilled was good.

Stopped in for a quick light lunch. Attentive service, wonderful views of the harbour. Food was excellent, we had a few starters to share. All had excellent flavours and texture. Worth the trip.

I was a bit disappointed with the food since this restaurant is very highly recommended. I have had much better lobster and fish&chips elsewhere but the sea bass was very nice. The view and the waiter were lovely!

This restaurant was the best in the New Harbour. The fish and chips was not very oily and the taste of it was really well. Also, I tried others plates and I really loved the taste. It was the best place to eat lunch food. The personal it was really nice as well, sometimes they're a little bit slow, but it's normal when they have a lot of customers in the restaurant. The views in the restaurant, it was perfect and we loved it. I totally recommend that restaurant.

Let's start with the positives. The oysters and appetizers were fantastic, leaving a delightful first impression. The squid and scallop dishes were particularly memorable, impressing us with their amazing flavors and preparation. We truly enjoyed those. However, the main course, specifically the sea bass, left something to be desired. It was disappointingly heavy on the buttery/oily side, making it a bit overwhelming and difficult to digest. This was a letdown considering the promising start to our meal. It would be great if the restaurant could consider refining this dish to achieve a better balance of flavors. On a brighter note, the restaurant boasts a breathtaking view that adds to the overall dining experience. The scenic surroundings further enhance the atmosphere and create a pleasant ambiance for customers. With some improvements to certain dishes, this restaurant has the potential to provide an even more satisfying dining experience.
