Charlotte was a gem! the quirky shop, and peggy’s vibes were on point and we walked away with some amazing artwork to take back to canada - easiest thing we’ll have to pack!

Thought i’d share my experience, love this place, everyone is so accommodating and absolute legends🤌🏻, had all my tattoos done by charlotte, threw her a couple of pictures and she has created amazing anime/japanese style pieces for me🤍, she has always made me feel comfortable and let me take any breaks when i needed them , talked me through each stage, and regularly asked how i was getting on. lotta love for her😊

Got a full sleeve done by jen at den of iniquity and we're currently working on the other one. the shop is beautiful and such a welcoming space, jen and the others are really lovely and make you feel right at home. the art they create speaks for itself (i am personally delighted with each piece of work i've got here). jen (and everyone else i've seen) always takes the time to make sure you as a client are happy with the design and placement and checks in throughout the process. i'm a very happily returning customer and absolutely recommend jen and den of iniquity to anyone interested in her style of tattooing.

This place is one big vibe, with the most friendly people ever! i was visiting edinburgh for only a few days and sent an email, hoping for the best. i was very excited when charlotte (baw_bags on instagram) responded and was willing to tattoo my idea. the next day i visited, felt right at home and talked my idea through with her, adding some changes very smoothly. charlotte works very fast, she explains everything she does, is gentle where appreciated and necessary, and takes her time for you. she is a super bubbly, nice person to be around and is super supportive. ignore the stencil on the photo, is still needs to wash off. sidenote: a super safe place for lgbtq+ people. my pronouns were always respected.

Beautiful wee tattoo parlour! came here for the first time earlier this week as my regular tattoo artist dominic now works here, and i felt so comfortable and at home! all the staff members are lovely and there was also even a wee resident dog (peggy). will definitely be back 😊
