Highly recommend richard. he’s a great guy with great advice. arrived on time and was very skilled and knowledgeable. i needed 2 ugly tree stumps removed which he achieved in a good time. he also took the time to clean up some trees elsewhere which were getting a bit wild. very happy

In 2022, richard provided excellent up-front advice on the pruning of a variety of both young and mature trees in my front and rear gardens, and on the removal and replacement of a large bush with a recommended rowan. richard is very knowledgeable about the optimum seasonal timing of pruning. he scheduled treatment of individual trees according to the best time to prune each one, always returning at the appropriate time without the need for any reminder. each pruning was carried out in a meticulous manner, with care being taken to prune the right amount from the right places to preserve the vitality and shape of the tree, and to remove all debris. richard is reliable and courteous and i look forward to his return in a few months when the red tibetan cherry is due its prune. (update may 2023: richard returned this week on schedule without prompting and has made a fine job of shaping the cherry tree). thanks richard.
