PureGym Exeter Fore Street

Very good array of gym equipment. Was disappointed to see that the lightest dumbbells are 6kg which is confusing, I was unable to do isolation work on shoulders, and my smaller female companion couldn’t do any dumbbell work at all. This surely needs correcting.

Left to your own devices, hold up expectations of cleanliness and everything else flows naturally. Good atmosphere and great gym on the Core membership, specifically (more freedom on time at gym so you can avoid busy hours).

Decent gym, right in the centre of Exeter near most public transport, shops, etc. However the space is used very inefficiently with treadmills taking up a quarter of the gym and mostly always empty whilst free weights, benches, cables, etc …
