Big, backstreet pub in exmouth serving really good real ale. had an excellent pint of checkstone pale ale, the onsite brew. great value at £3.20 a pint.
Tried a couple of pints, well kept and a nice pub thier own brewery pint was excellent. the pub was getting ready to watch the football so we were glad to move onto a pub with no tvs. prices were good and i can see why it's in the real ale guide.
Visited this pub on holiday to watch f1. what a great welcome from staff & friendly locals. good range of real ales, free roast potatoes & a meat raffle! what more could you ask for 😀 …
