Cathcart Castle Golf Club

On the face of it it looks like an easy course to play given the par of 69. The front half is tricky with OB to the right of the first 4 holes. Burns are in play on 3,4, 6,7,8, 9 ,12 and 13 holes. Greens are fast and undulated. Great fun and a real challenge at all levels of golf.

Lovely clubhouse venue. I am not a member. I was there by special invitation for a rock/ blues concert by the John Verity Band from England. Friendly staff, great food and service. Professional stage with lighting. Atmosphere was good created by an enthusiastic crowd. Would love to see more concerts there
