My favourite coffee shop in dennistoun. the coffee they use is the best, the staff are really friendly and their cakes are amazing. also... got my wife a vegan birthday cake while she is dairy free for breastfeeding and i thought it would be tasteless, but it was so beautiful. highly recommended! update: nearly two years on from this review... still the best place in dennistoun. they now do square sausage to eat in or take away. but her quality and in an amazing home baked roll! i'm obsessed with them!
Nice wee place at the less popular part of duke street a wee bit further east than the big hitters like tibo and coia's. there's limited seating but it's rarely crowded. we decided to try it because the cakes looked so good - and they are! while we were in we saw a member of staff putting the finishing touches to a gorgeous fruit gateau. the savoury pastries are also good, but unfortunately there was a wee mix up with the labels so we didn't get to try the feta byrek we were interested in. the man serving noticed later, apologised and corrected the labels. the coffee was very good, but it seems to be tea they specialise in as there were a variety of loose-leaf teas on display.
Simple cheese, ham and mustard mayo sandwich. high quality ingredients and taste. reasonably priced and served with a pleasant manner.
Very cosy place, super delicious food. cannot wait to go back for a brunch again. steak benedict with shiracha hollandaise was amazing.
Frittata... yum. pastrami on their sesame bread... yum. cute cake. coffee to match. nice!
