Great personal service. Joe and his team took time to understand what I wanted from my new bike and put forward a range of suggestions that hit the spot. The service is also really quick, I had my new bike within a few days of ordering.

We rented two bikes, the price is very affordable and the bikes themselves were very good. An on road repair kit was included as well as a lock for each bike if required. The service was smooth and pleasant. We've only met one employee, Sandy, he was incredibly nice, told us about a few places to visit, gave directions, and was generally very helpful. He even opened the shop on a Sunday when they're closed just so we could get our bikes at better time for us. All in all, would definitely recommend. P.S. we think Sandy is vegan :) Vilius & Sofia

Couldn’t be happier. Great service, friendly folk, decent prices, always keeping you updated on progress, and they have been willing to tackle everything I’ve thrown at them regardless of how bizarre or difficult it seems. Would probably still go there even if I didn’t own a bicycle.

When I hired a bike to tour Scotland's west coast this summer, the team at Gear Bikes provided all the help and support I needed, and more. The bike (and panniers) were of a good specification, and totally reliable out on the road. It's also useful that Gear will keep hold of your luggage until you return. I got an end-to-end service from the team that kept the hire experience hassle-free, plus some extra support with a friendly, can-do attitude. What I'm saying about it is for some time now is there is a fourth or pan-dimensional side to Gear Bikes. Obviously the energy from the Kelvin Ley lines comes into play as does the Gibson St poltergeist but the men fixing your bicycles can inform and advise you without holding back. In passing my knowledge of history and aeronautical engineering has increased and thus I would always go with puncture proof tires. You're worth it. Thank you Gear Bikes + Top Hole Old Bungee!
