Overall the cafe was ok for an on a budget breakfast, but i’d not recommend it or come back. the cafe was incredibly full so service was quite slow, although it was obvious the waiting staff were trying their best. the food was average at best: my breakfast roll was very dry and old, and the potato patty and sausage part both dry and chewy. the porridge was great, i wish it was a smaller portion or more fruits were there: it was a huge bowl of porridge with barely a strawberry 🍓 on top and a few banana slices. cooked breakfast was ok. the cafe was quite dirty with both dishes and tables being old and not very clean. the tea was excellent, probably the best part of the whole breakfast.
Great place for a affordable breakfast or lunch. good bang for the buck. you can choose from a great variety of soups, burritos, toasts and bagels. the café is small and feels a bit crowdy during busy hours.
I arrived before opening time as i was on the hunt for a full breakfast, including haggis, to start my day and was welcomed inside early to settle in and have a look at the menu. i ordered the breakfast i was looking for along with a dirty (with coffee) chai latte. food and drink was great.
First visit a friend took me there for brunch. a typical full monty big breakfast inc.toast was swiftly served. quality was excellent. beautifully cooked, non greasy and tasty. staff were excellent , friendly and efficient. prices are reasonable and atmosphere was excellent for chatting . this is a basement cafe with no loud blaring music or any other noisy distractions thoroughly recommended.
Cafe wander was our breakfast spot in glasgow 🍳 it is a very cute place hidden on the bottom of a building. we had scottish breakfasts which were delicious and very filling 🥓 it is very meaty though, just so you know 🙈 they had plenty other options too 🤗
