Cameron Ewer at Savills Glasgow Office I have known Cameron Ewer for many years and previously enjoyed working alongside him at Savills and have always found him to be professional, responsive and straightforward to work with on many projects. More recently while acting for my own company client I introduced them to him to assist in selling a high end unique building in Scotland. Cameron and his team provided solid advice, worked tirelessly to find a reliable buyer and diligently brought the deal to a successful conclusion. Working with Cameron was reassuring and I knew that my client was in safe hands. I would heartily recommend him to assist with any property project and look forward to working with him again.

Cameron and the team provided a great service for us throughout the process of the sale of our townhouse in the West End. Right from the start, there was a clear desire to want to get the sale with Cameron coming out at short notice on a weekend to make his pitch and demonstrate credibility in the local market. Throughout the sale process itself there was always clear communication and regular updates of what was going on, in conjunction with a willingness to show flexibility with regards to when viewings took place. Despite being part of a national agency and being involved with engagements outside of Glasgow as part of his role, Cameron was always transparent about this and when he was not in Glasgow yet was always available for us and kept in regular dialogue with the interested parties throughout. In addition to the sale process there was always a consideration of our onward purchase and coming forward with potential opportunities that fitted the bill we had set out on what we were looking for.

Peter Walker and the Residential sales team at Savills in Glasgow were a pleasure to deal with, when selling our house, from the first contact through to completion. He displayed a real appreciation for the house, and who the prospective purchasers might be. He convinced us of the benefits of using the Savills UK wide network, with buyers more open to looking at different locations in the West of Scotland, if the property is right. The marketing package, and online presentation were excellent, and we had an immediate list of qualified buyers from various parts of the UK wanting to view, which led to a quick sale. We would highly recommend the services of Peter and the team in Glasgow.

I selected Savills based on their reputation and was not disappointed. From my very first interaction with Iona and subsequent meeting with Peter Walker from the Glasgow office I felt they were the A team. I marketed my house through Savills and used their agents to do the viewings. They were also respectful and professional. Despite a few unexpected setbacks out with the control of Savills they have successfully sold my house and Peter has been always at the end of a phone to walk me through everything. I am extremely happy and would highly recommend Peter, Iona and the Glasgow team.

Beware if you’re considering/selling a property with this agency and read on to learn of the manner in which our serious buyer enquiries have been met. I was in a live dialogue with re a property, awaiting info to receive an out of office. No handover or warning, not great. Still awaiting information over a week on. Unable to proceed. Sellers losing out. My husband and I are serious buyers, very interested in two properties in the Savillis Glasgow portfolio, and looking to purchase imminently. We are relocating back to the UK and trying to ascertain basic info which is glaringly missing from these properties (videos offline, missing sections on home reports et al.). Given our location/distance at present and desire to purchase, we wanted to ensure we had all the information prior to booking flights and accommodation with intent to view/enter negotiations. However, we’ve not been able to even get that far in 10 days in as Savills have ignored our emails/phone calls and follow ups (we shouldn’t have to chase, but here we are). This is horrendous for the sellers who list with the company in good faith. They’re losing out on buyers who are willing and able to proceed chain free and without restriction. This problem is symptomatic of the company attitude and not a single member of staff; it’s happened with two representatives. The latter of which has ignored my email and follow up over the course of over a week. We feel very sorry for the sellers and are disappointed at the disdain we’ve received from Savills. It’s likely the sellers have no idea they’re losing out and as such, are considering writing to them ourselves to make them aware it’s not their property that’s not selling - it’s their agent, Savills not doing their job.
