I've been a care professional with Home Instead for 2 years now. I enjoy working with my colleagues and caring for my clients. I see my clients as my family and I treat them as though they are like my parents. I enjoy caring for them to give them my support and independence they need in their daily life's. We are all getting old, for me it's an insight into the future. I care for them the way I'd like people to care for me one day.

I have been a caregiver on and off since I left high school. They show, in many different ways, that they care about their care staff. One of the best things about them is that when I say “no” it’s pretty much a complete sentence with them. I absolutely love my role with Home Instead. I started off as a caregiver with the company and felt the support and training I got was the best I had ever had with a care company it allowed me to go out and deliver a first class service to our clients confidently and with the skills and understanding required. I was given the opportunity to grow and develop within the company and again given first class support and guidance to develop into a team leader role. This has allowed for me to give back to our new recruits the support and guidance they require to become a first class care professional and also to ensure that the clients receive a quality service.
