Amazing experience! the hotel was very lovely, the location was excellent, the rooms are well equipped, and all the staff were very friendly. the best thing about this hotel however was its manager paddy. he’s the kindest and most helpful manager you can encounter. thank you all for the lovely experience, we’ll definitely be back.

It's not bad for what it is, but i don't think "4-star hotel" is an appropriate description. this is good for solo travelers or couples traveling light and being out and about most of the day. rooms are efficient - by that, i mean about 40% of the size of what i'd consider a standard hotel room to be. there's little room for bags, no fridge or coffee maker - just a basic sink, a small enclosed toilet and shower, a small desk, and an admittedly good-sized bed. it's slick that most of the room is controlled through an ipad though - blinds, lighting, etc. the 24-hour canteen and large open public spaces are nice, i liked those, and the staff are excellent. the location is also very convenient; it's only a short walk from the buchanan bus station, and you can easily walk through a lot of glasgow.

This hotel has the friendliest staff i’ve ever encountered. they are respectful, fun, and very helpful. i stayed there for 2 nights just to clear my mind and i surely did. had lots of conversations with the workers in the restaurant/bar area and they were so nice to an extent that they invited me for drinks because as they said “i was good company”. the rooms are great for solo travellers as they were not big but the details were great and they were very clean with a cool restroom and a great comfortable bed. i loved the self check-in and check-out experience and loved the concept of the ipad control in the room which allows you to basically control everything from curtains, lights, restroom dim lights, and tv. the location is great as it is in the city center with a few minutes walking everywhere and the nearest underground station is around 5 minutes walk. the restaurant is open 24/7 and the bar goes up to 1 am. they have a great work area in the lobby and a great gathering area in the same floor. i highly recommend this place for a good time and good company.

Very nice people. i showed up not terribly fresh after a red eye and late connecting flight, and the nice desk woman spoke nicely and got me to my room quickly. then after working a few hours i got a scotch tasting + my voucher of lagavulin to send me to bed. waking up around 4am, i got cappuccino+ tourist advice for a nice walk, then a few more hours sleep at 10am before my 2pm late check-out. life is good!
